The return has been negative since Feb'12 including costs/comm. 7 month is a long period without positive return. Although overall stats still look good, especially return vs. max drawdown, recent results show the strategy has lost its edge. It deserves no more than 2 stars due to the recent poor performance.
Needs to step up really in the following weeks. Running into its biggest drawdown in 15 months. Needs to prove that this is just a normal drawdown instead of being an outdated trading system.
I have to admit, this developer has really impressed me despite the short track record. He has made enough trades in my opinion to draw conclusions from the sample. I also like his risk adverse style. Keep up the great work!
One down month after more than a year and the crowd starts throwing rotten fruit. This system is mechanical, so sometimes it will lose by ignoring the news buzz, but mostly it wins by doing so. If August is like July, I'll reconsider, but for now, look as his equity curve and cut the guy some slack.
Last review is too harsh, subscriber may have signed up 2-4 weeks ago. But the system is definitely out of touch with the market, as it is buying at highs and selling at lows at well defined supp/res levels. One has to admit that all good systems become obsolete at some point, this may be the time now for SuperrPips. I give it 5 stars for having been one of best systems of all times here at C2. Happy subscriber for several months, I may be signing off soon after a good long ride.
Steady, no nonsense trading system. Consistently putting up positive months with limited draw down. This is a trading system you can feel comfortable using on larger accounts.
Especially good results lately. Low fees. It is not a martingale system despite some light averaging into positions. Risk appears to be managed well given its relatively low drawdown with over 1.5 years on C2. Developer is very responsive. One of the few forex systems that makes the cut with a reasonable age, Sortino, drawdown, and profit factor filter.
The current big drawdown is the latest of a string of bad trades that the sp holds on to in the hope that they will recover. Each time it happens the subscriber is left wondering whether this is the one that will wipe his account out - this is gambling not trading
We worked with Cameron in London and found him to be a great natural trader. Looking forward to seeing how he performs out on his own and expecting big results. One thing to note is that his risk tolerances are relatively high and his trading style is very unique. Expect large drawdowns but also impressive rebounds.
Another very typical "system" here at C2. Two or three weeks up, then down and the "developer" disappears. No responsibilty, no feeling for other people's money, no quality at all - only blablabla.
Sure, I'll leave a review! :) System owner starts system, trades system for a couple of months, loses most of previous month's profit, and permanently checks out of C2, deleting account as he goes. So long, Max and Zen FX!
I am getting second thoughts now about the system. On 6/18/12 DAX opened with a large upside gap. Shortly afterwards system entered long when it looked like DAX was already trying to fill the gap which is what you normally would expect. Nevertheless system added two more contracts to the losing position which resulted in the largest loss so far, larger than any single trade profit. Vendor says he uses 5% discretion, this was a case where he should have intervened early on - where was he?
Not worth $500 per month. Also not worth $1000 per month, which is what he charges for "Timezone 1" and "Timezone 2" together, which are apparently the SAME system but traded during different time zones, get it?
Not a bad system. Picks up a few good wins. However, I would like to see the stops moved quicker to breakeven when in a winning trade as I have experienced some good trades that have quickly turned into losses.
I started in May with 6 losses in a row. But each trader has some bad spells and you need to give time for any system.
I find the entry levels are good but lately the system close trades before reaching the limit which in my view I would prefer to move the stop to breakeven and try to reach the limit.
All in all the system is good and the communication with the trader is excellent.
It is suitable for me where I am looking for few trades a week low risk.

Although the latest two trades have been disappointing, I think the previous review is too harsh. Before the setback Zen FX was in the top tier of more efficient system in terms of Expectancy/contract traded/hours exposed to mkt risk. Now it is an average system but this does not mean that it is fundamentally flawed as the reviewer was implying. As a subscriber, I hope that the system comes back to the excellent levels that attracted me. Otherwise we have the right to walk away.
Lost 10% of equity in two trades whereas vendor claims max. 4% risk per trade. Risk management is very poor. Leaving trades open at weekend as stoplosses are meaningless due to gap opens. A typical amateur.
It's great when a developer believes in a system. It's absolutely stupid when a developer believes he can do no wrong and isn't smart enough to get out of a losing trade, but rather doubling and then tripling down in order to claw back the losses.
And when the developer says he is "TOS", look at how much he is trading - $10,000 is the investment.
Prasie be to god that he hasn't lost more than what he has already lost...
